June 30, 2011 is World Social Media Day!! We are celebrating social media and we would like you to join us!!
On June 30, 2011 from 7 p.m. To 8 p.m. (Eastern Time), we will be doing our first live “Town Hall” show (audio only) via the internet. The theme of the show will be “Blacks and Social Media”. We would love you take part in a discussion about the impact of social media in the Black community.
There are two ways that you can be part of this event.
If you live in or are in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on June 30, 2011, you can join us live at the ING Social Media Cafe, 221 Yonge Street (2nd floor, The Thompson Room) from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Eastern Time). If you would like to attend the session, please email your name and address to info@blackcanadianman.com and put “attend Social Media Day” in the subject line of your email. Please note that due to the size of the Thompson Room, we can only allow 20 people to attend the live session. First come and first serve!! If you commit to attending and cannot make it, please email us so that we can replace you.
If you are not able to attend, you will be able to listen to the audio stream live via the Mixlr player on The Dr.Vibe Show homepage. You can also participate by commenting in the “Vibe and Vegas Chatroom” which can be found just above the Mixlr player on our site.
