Local skills development company The Media Huddle has assembled some of the most influential diversity speakers in North America for their July 16, 2011 event: Diversity In A New Media Era.
The seminar is being held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Yorkville from 10:00am to 1:30p on July 16th, and is the second official event for the company founded by local media personality Nneka Elliott.

The seminar also boasts a stellar line up for the event’s panel discussion. It features producer, actor and creator of Da’ Kink in my hair Trey Anthony, diversity and culture expert Dalton Higgins,
TV/Radio personality and host of The Mike Chalut show on Proud FM, Mike Chalut and University of Toronto Professor Megan Boler who specializes in digital media and democracy.
The lively and outspoken panelists will discuss topics including: The apparent lack of diversity in social media and what opportunities/obstacles does this new media era present when it comes to inclusiveness. The Media Huddle’s president Nneka Elliott will moderate the discussion.
