Alex Hanse

Alex “ATG” Hanse, was born June 28, 1987 in Miami, Florida. He Started off writing poetry in the sixth grade after his mother passed away and then began to rap when he entered into middle school and his craft then flourished as he entered into high school. From radio stations to night clubs he was free-styling where ever he got a chance to.

In 2007, while attending the University of Florida, ATG then known as Nemo released a few mixtape projects. One entitled “Freshman Ave” which was a group collaboration and then his first solo project “Fish Food for Thought.” Both were well received and gained him the opportunity to host multiple events at the University of Florida from Fashion Shows to Talent Shows. He graduated from the University in 2009 with his Bachelors Degree. However, It was not until 2010 when he began to refine his skills and began his serious devotion to his artistry.

In fall of 2010 “Alexander the Great” was born and he released his 1st mixtape under this name, 3rd mixtape in his career, called “Champagne Dreams & Koolaid Money” to much critical acclaim and praise. This mixtape was available for download via bandcamp where it received thousands of downloads.

In 2011, he went back into the studio to work on original works where he released a few singles; Goin Down, Maverick and the Coldest these singles gave his fans a taste of what he really could do with original beats.

What does the future hold? Well, he has already released his first full album for the Summer of 2011 entitled “Turn off the Radio” and other expected projects are due to drop in the Fall of 2011. You have now been introduced to Alexander the Great aka Hanse Solo. Let the Greatness Begin!

Be great and THINK GREATNESS!!

Alex will be on our show live tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern/6 p.m. Pacific.
