Beginning in September of 2011, Michael Russer began a personal transformation that included a diagnosis of prostate cancer, radical prostatectomy, follow up intensive radiation treatments and full blown impotence. While most people would call it a tragedy, he considers his resulting impotence to be one of the biggest blessings in his life. It is because of his impotence that he and his partner discovered an entirely new approach to experiencing levels of emotional and physical intimacy that far exceeds anything either experienced prior to when things were working “normally”.

Award-winning author, and Radio and TV personality, Sandy Daley’s best-selling first novel, Whose Vagina Is It, Really? has literally taken the world by storm. In her first audition, Jamaican-born, Toronto-bred Sandy, scored the lead role in Christene Browne’s feature film, ANOTHER PLANET. Film critics have described Daley as a young Susan Sarandon, with the range and charisma of Angela Bassett. Daley has appeared in numerous music videos, and her acting credits include lead roles in various college productions including,THE SWEETEST THING, where Ms. Daley showed remarkable versatility by playing a 60-year-old woman.
She won the Spirit Award for favorite columnist in 2009, which was handed out at Citi Fields in New York City and continues to gain the respect from media professionals for her professionalism and love of her craft. She tackles the issues surrounding love and relationships and even sex, in a very humorous, yet truthful way. Everyone looks forward to her weekly adventures as a single woman, still hopeful that Mr. Right will turn rear his handsome head. Persuaded by many to write a book, Sandy began working on “Whose Vagina Is It, Really?” which was recently released. The book has many tongues wagging, not only because of its title but also its contents and the issues surrounding women as detailed by Sandy.
She has been invited to New York, Jamaica, London, Chicago and places to promote her book. “I began writing because of a broken heart and the loss of what I thought was my “Mr. Right”. Funny sometimes how life works itself out,” Sandy says. “Along the way, I have learnt so many things which can be helpful to other women in their search for love, money and control.”Whose Vagina Is It, Really?” is not only my story, but other women’s as well. Dubbed by many as, “The Black Carrie Bradshaw,” Sandy continues to pour her heart into her work, honored by the title, but never wishing to ride on anyone’s frock tails. “My goal is to encourage women to really grasp the control that they have over their own lives. Follow no one, bow down to no one but yourself and God.
Control your sexuality and your own money and when all that is all said and done, Mr. Right will know that he has to come to you with respect.” I never tell a woman what to do or what decisions to make. I just write my articles and use my life as an example. Do what you want to do with it after I am done is my motto, as it is up to you and only you to make decisions for yourself.”
