After 13 years of working with hundreds of singles, engaged, and married couples – teaching them how to make their relationships work, Heath Wiggins, founder of the Family Bootcamp, identified an epidemic that’s affecting the core foundation of relationships in the United States: women don’t feel secure in trusting men to lead in their relationships.
After earning a Business Management degree from Hampton University in 1992, Heath spent the next eight years learning about relationship and marriage dynamics in his local church. He and his wife of 3 years, BerNadette, found their niche mentoring couples. They led the churches Couples Ministry. Then in 2000, they founded the Family Bootcamp, a biblically-based business that uses teambuilding-training techniques to teach couples how to obtain and maintain a happy, loving, and trusting relationship.
Life circumstances called for Heath to be a better husband and leader. He asked his mentors, but they didn’t have the answers to the life’s questions. So he went back to school and earned a Masters in Organizational Leadership in 2006 to find the answers. What he discovered changed in life and changed the direction of the Family Bootcamp. He created a consulting/coaching program for couples specifically designed to improve communication, trust, and leadership. In August of 2013, he launched the brand, His Leadership Her Trust to lead the discussion about relationships and leader, and to empower men become the kind of man a woman trusts, respects, and wants to follow. Heath is a writer for BlackandMarriedWithKids.com, the #1 blog for African American Marriage and Parenting.
Heath Wiggins possesses the perfect blend of empirically-based leadership principles, along with the practical how-to…steps-by-step relationship guidance to empower you to create a happy, loving, and trusting relationship.
