Sasha Stewart is an awarded practitioner and speaker with a Masters in Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. She is a qualified therapist registered in Ontario, Canada, in addition; she is also licensed by the National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapists and registered with the American Occupational Therapy Association. As a clinician, Sasha has had many years of experience working in adult physical medicine, with the ageing population and in mental health and addictions. Through both her public and private sector experience, she has adopted a holistic approach to promoting health and well being and is driven by advocacy for vulnerable populations and removing stigmas associated with illness and disability.
Ms. Stewart will be on our show tonight live at 9 p.m. Eastern/6 P.M. Pacific. She will be talking about Black women and mental health.
