Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Ernest Owens is a Communication & Public Service major at the University of Pennsylvania. He broadcasts his hit radio show “Ernestly Speaking!” on WQHS.org, and was a student government representative at Penn. He launched his career in media as the former video producer and op-ed columnist for The Daily Pennsylvanian. Ernest has interned at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, NBC Philadelphia, and Philadelphia City Council. He is currently a contributing writer for USA Today & The Huffington Post, where he covers variety of social issues regarding race relations, social media/policy, and entertainment. His work has been featured on The Good Men Project, Al Jazeera English, The Root, The Oprah Winfrey Network and other social web publications. He is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and the National Association of Black Journalists. His writing has even been honored with the Gold Circle Award for Best Personal Opinion by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. The “Naked Truth Conference” is a three-day conference (March 28 – 30, 2014) for professionals and those seeking a rewarding life, at the beautiful Americana Conference Resort & Spa, Niagara Falls.

Nadine Miller is the Founder and CEO of GNM Genesis Productions, an entertainment production and theatrical management company specializing in film, musicals, regional theatres, concerts and special events in Canada and USA. For over 20 years, she has had extensive experience in scheduling complex productions.

Nadine is fully committed to excellence, with a passion for results. Her work is credited with the likes of: Juno Award recording artist Glen Lewis (Maid in Manhattan); Broadway singer, dancer, actress Chantel Riley (The Lion King); Julliard of New York City, Ballet Hispanico of New York dancer, Nicholas Villeneuve (The Lion King Toronto); music production manager and Canadian Idol judge, Farley Flex.

Nadine currently resides in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada.

Gerard PK Kersey has been married since 1992 to his wife Keenya Kersey and they have twin boys. He has have worked for the state of New York for over 20 years and is also an assistant minister for his church in Brooklyn, New York, Changing Live Christian Center. He has worked in ministry for over 15 years in various churches and areas.

Recently, he have founded a nonprofit organization called That Suits You (TSY). TSY collects new and gently worn professional attire and give them to qualified job trained men entering the workforce. TSY is also working on having a free manicure and haircut to go along with their new attire.

TSY works with several job training programs throughout New York City. All the men are thrilled with the clothing and TSY continues to expand at a rapid rate. Aside from this, Gerard has a passion to help people in fulfilling their dreams and reaching their potential.

Camille Dundas is a media expert, having worked as a news writer and producer for Toronto’s major news programs including CBC National, CP24 Breaking News, CityTV News and CTV’s Canada AM. Camille’s journalistic style is anchored by her mastery of and passion for storytelling, so it should come as no surprise that Camille is also an educator. She loves to share her knowledge of the media landscape and the unique lessons she has learned during the last ten years she’s been working in the broadcast industry. A personal and professional milestone for Camille was meeting the late Nelson Mandela and the rare opportunity to co-direct an educational documentary about maternal health in Rwanda. As a media consultant at 404 Media Group, she leads practical workshops that give clients critical insight into how the media works, and how it can work for them. Camille is also a News Writer at CTV Canada AM.

Jon Covington is a television talk show host, radio personality, political pundit, producer, motivational speaker, and does voiceovers. They have all been a part of Jon’s life journey.

He is currently writing his first book, producing a film on relationships or lack there of between black men and their fathers, and in development on a MOCITI TV sitcom – “The LOFT”.

Jon is the Founder, President and CEO of MOCITI, Inc – an acronym for MEN OF COLOR IN THE INDUSTRY which is an entertainment based networking organization based out of Hollywood with chapters slated to open in Atlanta and South Africa.

Jon is a married, a father of 4 and is grateful for the journey.

– Jon reflects on his growing up in western Michigan
– how he handled his parents divorcing when he was very young and how his grandparent where an important part of his life when he was growing up
– what stopped him from pursuing basketball and started his focus on entertainment when he was a teenager
