Makini began her career in real estate at the age of 30. After 8 years of buying and selling homes as an investment, she realized her passion for excellence and extraordinary attention to detail could benefit others. At that point she decided to flip sides and become the realtor. Her drive to help others landed her awards like Top Producer Award in her first year.
As a single mother she strives to break stereotypes by leading and educating through example. Her children currently volunteer at the local YMCA and participate in fund raisers.
“Give thanks by giving” is a motto that motivates her to put her time and money into as many fundraisers as she can manage. Inspiring women to strive for goals and become valuable members in the community to improve the lives of themselves and others. She enjoys bringing awareness to local charities and fundraising events.
