Most notably, he’s a weekly contributor for BlackEnterprise.com’s Career Section where he writes articles that help to advance the careers of thousands of students and young professionals across the country. Dr. Moss travels extensively to colleges, universities, and conferences as a professional speaker, trainer, and master of ceremonies to inspire the world’s next generation of leaders.

Over the years, Dr. Moss has been privileged to develop a powerful network of highly successful professionals. His network of high achievers is comprised of astronauts, millionaires, U.S. Congressional officials, FBI agents, famous celebrities, former NBA & NFL players, doctors, authors, senior executives, and national business moguls. Dr. Moss has had personal encounters with leading self-help gurus such as Dr. Wayne Dyer, Les Brown, John C. Maxwell, Farrah Gray, and George Fraser. From high-profile network, Dr. Moss has learned amazing success principles and he is committed to studying the attributes of high performance and happiness from the world’s top experts.

Not only does Dr. Moss study success as a social scientist, but he attains it as well. He began to put his knowledge into practice by achieving extraordinary success at a considerably young age. He wrote a dynamic career development book entitled Learn to Intern CEO Style to help students land jobs in this tough global economy. Through extensive research and professional experience from interning with NASA, the FBI, and in the U.S. Congress with the late-Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs-Jones on Capitol Hill, Dr. Moss developed 71 amazing leadership principles. These principles have driven early career achievers and professionals alike, to succeed in their internships and professional endeavors. Dr. Moss is also the CEO and Founder of CEO Style Consulting, LLC. The mission of this company is to empower professionals and organizations to reach their full potential. Through his company and memberships with the: Great Black Speakers Bureau, Inspiring Speakers Bureau, and NASA Speakers Bureau, Dr. Moss delivers empowerment keynote addresses, conducts training workshops, and offers consulting services.

Because Dr. Moss loves to volunteer and give back to his community, he became Founder and Executive Director of Community Healers Acknowledging Needs Goals and Expectations — C.H.A.N.G.E. Volunteers, Inc. in 2006. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the mission of C.H.A.N.G.E. is to develop and empower its members and various community residents through consistent volunteer initiatives, professional workshops, educational conferences, and team building programs.

Dr. Moss obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, from Baldwin Wallace University (2005). He subsequently earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration, with a focus on General Management, from Cleveland State University’s (CSU) Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs (2007). More recently, Dr. Moss graduated from CSU’s Urban Studies and Public Affairs Ph.D. program, with a concentration in Leadership (2011). He made history by being the youngest African-American male to complete this highly regarded program at Cleveland State University.

Over the last several years Dr. Moss has received the following honors and recognition: The Positive Plus Women’s Support Group Distinguished Gentlemen Award (2012), The National Technical Association Cleveland Chapter Nsoroma Star Leader Award (2011), featured by AT&T as 1 of their top 28 National Movers & Shakers for Black History Month (2010), and inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society for Public Administration and Public Affairs (2009).

This brief biography of Dr. Moss provides only surface level insight into the ambition and passion that drive his desire to empower ordinary young professionals to achieve extraordinary success and happiness. He is definitely a notable community and professional leader who has reached and empowered thousands of students and professionals to move from the unemployment line to becoming the CEO of their dreams!

Shahmar Beasley is a 21 year old, 3rd year honor roll undergraduate student at Drexel University. At Drexel he serves as the 1st Black president of the Drexel Democrats, co-founder of the Drexel Rotaract Club, and founder of the Drexel Black Action Committee. In Philadelphia he serves as social media chair of a voting rights organization named Real Street Talk. He has been honored as the youngest ambassador to State Representative Margo Davidson of the 164th Legislative district. He has served as a college student recruiter for State Representative Donna Bullock, Judge Dwayne Woodruff, Darby Councilman Howard Blackson Jr, and PA Representative Candidate Whitney Hoffman. He was also selected for a highly competitve internship with the Honorable Judge Tamika Lane. Shahmar from his community service and politically oriented efforts has been featured on ABC News Nightline, Good Morning America, Huffington Post Originals, XXL Magazine, and Vibe Magazine.

Shahmar’s main quote in life that he lives by is:
